Montana is launching a Teachers Registered Apprenticeship Program, a new, paid pathway to becoming a licensed educator. The Request for Proposal (RFP) has been published, click here to view.
School Districts
Any Montana school district interested in sponsoring an apprenticeship program, please respond to this survey and attend one of the pre-proposal conferences listed below.

Education Prep Providers (EPPs)
Help re-shape educational pathways for aspiring teachers. EPPs interested in participating should review the Request for Proposal (RFP) and attend one of the pre-proposal conferences listed below.
Pre-Proposal Conference
The intent of the Pre-Proposal Conferences is to provide school districts and Educator Preparation Providers an opportunity to learn more about the Montana Teacher Registered Apprenticeship Grant Program. The Pre-Proposal conferences will discuss the grant background and highlights, application walkthrough and scoring scenarios, grant timeline and logistics, and provide time for a short Q&A. If you are a School District leader or EPP that has any interest in Montana Teacher Apprenticeship please register for one of the four upcoming sessions.
- Monday January, 12th 8am - 9am MST
- Tuesday, January 13th 9am - 10am MST
- Wednesday, January 21st 1pm - 2pm MST
- Tuesday, February 3rd 9am - 10am MST

From the date this RFP is issued until the Contracts Officer has posted a Notice of Intent to Award (NOIA) as required in 18-4-304, MCA, Offerors may not communicate with any State staff regarding this solicitation, except at the direction of the Contracts Officer. Any unauthorized contact may disqualify the Offeror from further consideration.
